Start the sharpening process with extra slurry by adding a bit of Coticule powder to the water. You have instantly more garnets in the water so the sharpening goes faster.

Small scratches on the blade can be polished out by rubbing it with slurry. The scratches will be less visible or even disappear.

A bag of Coticule powder weights 20gr, is made out of 100% Coticule and contains at least 25% of garnets from about 5 – 20 micron large.
